What we build

ImageTools is a set of web tools that let anyone do common everyday image tasks for free and safely. Reduce photo size (compress), change dimensions (resize), switch formats (PNG/JPG/WebP conversion) and crop areas (crop) — all right in your browser with no separate program to install.

Our privacy promise

ImageTools' most important principle is that your photos are never sent to a server. All image processing runs only on your device (in the browser) using JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas. The photos you load are never transmitted to or stored on any external server. The fact that the tools keep working with no internet connection is the proof.

Thanks to this design, you can confidently process even sensitive images like ID cards, contracts and family photos.

Operating principles (E-E-A-T)

• Experience: We use the common image tasks ourselves to find and fix the friction. Every tool is tested with real files before it ships.
• Expertise: We explain how image compression, encoding and formats actually work and provide well-reasoned recommendations (quality, resolution).
• Authoritativeness: Explanations of formats and compression are based on public standards and browser implementation specs.
• Trustworthiness: We never upload your photos and add no watermarks or hidden limits. Ads are clearly labeled "Ad".
